C+plus SERIES AW22 DIGITAL LOOKBOOK
Designer C.T. Liu reveals his C+plus SERIES Autumn/Winter 2022 collection on NYFW.com and CFDA’s Runway 360 platform on February 12th, 2022 at 10:00am EST.
The collection draws inspiration from designer C.T Liu’s exploration of nights. As dawn is the destination of the darkness, Liu is trying to capture the essence of night and re-creating female’s sophisticated silhouette with his imagination of light and shadow after dark.
Inspired by the movie “ Dancer In the Dark ” the tragic fantasy musical film played by the actress Bjork- a girl shines in the dark with inner musical signings. Her powerful yet unique character is C+plus SERIES’ muse this season. Liu believe even style changes through time, C+plus SERIES will consistently portrait the independent, modern and creative women.
For the AW22 collection, Liu mixed a wide range of materials and fabrics, from sequins, nets, beads, faux furs and recycled clothed. To produce the Autumn / Winter looks with his modern twist- Liu styled them with mixed media accessories to reflect the charm of freedom.
With over size faux fur coat, asymmetry and voluminous dresses , C+plus SERIES experiment the night with a dose of fantasy to elevate bold, strong silhouettes for the new modern woman.
