Inspired by the imposing large-scale landscape photography of the German artist Andreas Gursky – The Et Ochs Pre-Fall 2022 collection is a celebration of travels and the open road.
Grounded in a graphic palette of Slate, Dark Chocolate, Buttercream, Optic White, Denim, Black, warmed by the earthy Clay and enlivened by a shot of Horizon Blue - the Et Ochs Pre-Fall 2022 collection in- troduces a utilitarian wardrobe that feels easy and intuitive. Delicate Gloss Jersey is lightly ruched in feminine silhouettes while the debut of leather and denim grounds the collection in pragmatism and strength. Shoulders are exaggerated with structured raglan sleeves and ribbed knitwear is strengthened with shiny-nickel custom hardware. Circular style-lines are employed to suggest the swirly roads driven during expedition.
Echoing the disorienting sensation evoked by Mr. Gursky high-vantage, large-format photograph – Bah- rain l 2005, a graphic zebra pattern is oversized and sliced together to form the custom print.
Core fabrications consist of luxurious Italian-made Stretch Cady, Gloss Jersey, Power Stretch Viscose, Silk Crepe-de-Chine, counterbalancing with utilitarian Japanese Indigo raw denim, heavy-duty baby-calf hides, and buttery stretch lambskin.
