PRE-FALL 2021 COLLECTION


Quarantined and spending long portions of it alone, I realized that through the many social media channels we have been transformed into a “Spectator” society.


As the year 2020 comes to an end I cannot help but look back and try to understand the year that has evoked a multitude of emotions as well as life changing events. The struggles of COVID-19, potential race wars, truths and lies, all that remind me of the tension created when you play two polar opposites against one another. Working with my signature laces, silks, tweeds and hand crochet knits, my collection for pre-fall mixes hand details and couture fabrics with ease. Limiting the color palette makes the texture mix even more exciting.

As always in my collections there is a reference to the 70’s. I've spent the year praying for my fashion and female alter ego Angela Davis to resurface and bring a little defiant reality to the mix…then as if the answer to my prayers the beautiful, strong, smart as hell Kamala Harris…Here’s to 2021
