SERIES 02 | SPACE

Series 02 of JKEEFER looks to continunity as a key vein of the collection inspired by the

writings and work of Donald Judd.

For the brand’s second collection, SPACE explores the how Judd’s work creates a sense
of space and the need for space between the artist and the world. JKEEFER’s minimalist
ethos finds its self in the sharp clean lines, and sparse yet deliberate materials of Judd’s
work. Series 02 utilzies an a selection of fabrics that capture the form of the American
artist’s work, twisted yarns create organic cotton and wool gabaridines with defined grain
embody the form and boardiness of plywood, resin treatments give a sheen and finish that

emulates some of Judd’s metal work, and mulberry silk organic cotton yarns that move uni-
formly yet drape beautifully.

SPACE sees the JKEEFER collection introduce their first bags, an aniline tanned italian
leather Gallery Straps Bag is hand constructed in Paris, and the organic cotton twill Studio

Straps Tote captures key design elements.

Old world techniques applied in a modern context are the cornerstone of JKEEFER which
continues in SPACE. With an emphasis on detailed tailoring, Series 02 challenges the
traditional concept of a reductive wardrobe and presents a collection of garments
reinvented using luxurious fabrics and colors. The garments shown in Series 02| SPACE
are created in southern Italy in refined color palate of concrete, natural, blacks, fiberglass,

and cor-ten.
