Spring 2020 began with an “Addams Family” marathon, and the “what if’s” for the characters - what becomes of Wednesday Addams? Where does her rebellious streak lead the self-assured, feminist goth-girl?
Years after bringing a reckoning to Camp Chippewa, Wednesday is a photographer and has moved to a ranch outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her aesthetic is a collision of the ornate, gothic influences she grew up with, and the stark beauty of her new environment. Lace gowns passed down from her mother are patched togehter into new shapes; a lace tablecloth becomes a skirt that sways in the wind.

Over time we cobble together our imperfect past and our uncertain future, break down old attachments and repair them or build new ones in their place. The evolution is not a rejection of what we were, but a hope for what we wish to create.
