KoH T is a Japanese fashion brand with a creative team that embodies Japanese sensibilities. With an aim to create timeless wardrobe essentials, with an emphasis on the wearer’s personality, KoH T presents a collection that’s both progressive yet a revival of tradition. KoH T, helmed by Creative Director Taisuke Kohji and design partner Yumiko Ozawa, hopes to establish themselves as narrators of the story telling behind the careful construction of garments. Kohji won the JFW (Japan Fashion Week) New Designer Fashion Grand Prix and many other fashion awards in 2010. He then moved to England, learning collection making at Nottingham Trent University. After participating in the London Graduate Fashion Week, he returned to Japan to focus on his own brand. “Human beauty reflects the way of life and the philosophy of a person.” They have taken a strong stance in social responsibility, partnering with the production lines to create a more conscious working environment - a message they hope will carry to the future to create a better life. KoH T believes that the real value of clothing is both in the process, concluded with a beautiful product, not only in automation but also in human intervention - inherited over time and refined by each generation thereforth. Recent accolades include SS21 Digital show at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo, along with SS21 3D Digital show & Designer Residency at Helsinki Fashion Week.

KoH T develops original textiles and recycled textiles with craftsmen
KoH T's collection inspires imagination by looking at the arts and cultures that have been created in history and tradition. We visit production areas in Japan and develop and utilize special processing and recycled textiles in cooperation with production bases. This, along with our creative work, recreates traditional methods in new ways and provides people with sustainable, high-quality clothing in an effective way.
