PRE-FALL 2021 MARCHESA NOTTE
As romantic florals remain a part of Marchesa Notte's identity, this season explored what it means to capture that aesthetic. Inspired by keepsake floral resins, the Pre-Fall 2021 Marchesa Notte collection explores distorted motifs and billowy silhouettes created by dreamlike layers of flora.
The way keepsake resins freeze pressed flowers in that moment serves as an influence for the collection's hand-painted prints and intricately designed jacquards. The craft of building upon layers and layers of mixed florals is embodied in the multi-tiered gowns and mixed media embroideries.
The techniques also translate into the daywear line, with vibrant and surreal floral prints used on sleek V-necks and distorted pour paints on two-piece sets. The Pre-Fall 2021 collection creates a time capsule for the Marchesa Notte woman through timeless colors and abstract florals.
