PRE-FALL 2021 MARCHESA
The Pre-Fall 2021 Marchesa Couture collection is inspired by the botanical world, with a focus on vibrant flowers, trickling vines and the art and joy of horticulture. Florals are an integral part of Marchesa’s DNA, sometimes dreamy and romantic, other times it is reflected in architectural silhouettes and lush embroidery techniques. For Pre-Fall 2021, the collection embodies it all - as well as in large scale colorful prints, bold draping and spontaneous textures. Hot pink and magenta hues are presented side by side with teal, cobalt, periwinkle and wisteria blues, purple and lavenders as well as clean, crisp lily whites. Neutrals as seen in sand, golden shimmer and dusky greys and silvers, reminiscent of morning dew.
Oversized multicolor mix technique threadwork on silk gazar ball skirts blend with refined floral motif embroidery on crisp white taffeta ground. Micro size organza lasercut petals on trickling vines in lavender and smoky blue contrast deliciously against stark ivory and black. Delicate hand cut chiffon and organza flowers tumble down billowing textures and land in a cloud of tulle.
