The inspiration for Marina Moscone Fall 2020 can be distilled down to a simple idea: modernity does not necessarily equate with minimalism. Clean, gestural shapes harken back to the louche glamour of the 70’s, with touches of the purism and minimalism of the 90’s. Signature draped and twist silhouettes appear in color-blocked crepe dresses, tunics, one-shoulder dresses, and bias cut satin slipdresses. These fluid shapes provide a languid counterpoint to structured tailoring.
