Fall-Winter 2022 Runway Collection
Through the exploration of our physical and digital identities converging, merging into one, the MARRISA WILSON NY Fall 2022 Collection, “Somewhere North of Earth” looks forward to this brave new world. As these digital spaces continue to be built, we must ensure that there is room and opportunity for women, and especially women of color, to participate and play and tell our stories. This collection embraces that future, with bursts of hot coral that provide a neon glow against the skin and flashes of digital lavender, a color that connotes stability and healing. The graphics and print artwork work together, in tandem, to further the futurism aesthetic— evoking a sense of energy and electricity, excitement for the unknown yet vital possibilities that lay ahead.
