CHAPTER IV - FW21
As the world becomes increasingly complex, with a heightened sense of tension and anxiety encroaching into our daily lives, we often find the need to gasp for a breath of fresh air.
Offering a sense of escapism, reveries of après-ski from Courchevel to Cortina molded the vision of this collection. Pillows of snow and sentry-like glaciers manifested into dramatic silhouettes and artfully crafted textures. Imagery from the film 'Charade' and Slim Aaron’s women in Gstaad stirred inspiration from the Golden Age of travel, when the world simultaneously became smaller and larger at the same time. This exhilarating time of change and upheaval paved a path of progress for the world, bringing modern views to the forefront. The dichotomy of this new interconnected world and today's growing movement towards isolationism sparked the fantasy of this voyage.
