Black by Maria Silver | Fall 2021
After designer Maria Silver graduated from F.I.T. in women's contemporary clothing
and costume design, she worked on Broadway and LA as a design assistant, and toured
the world drumming for cult rock band The Ettes. In 2011 she founded her fashion line,
Black By Maria Silver. BBMS exhibits chic, vibrant pieces while emphasizing
environmental sustainability. Silver's designs have been featured in Glamour, Nylon,
Bust, Refinery 29, Elle, and more. Silver also designed for the critically acclaimed
Nashville Ballet production 7 Deadly Sins and was the 2017 recipient of Nashville
Fashion Week's, Fashion Forward Fund.
