Erica Knicely is a playful and romantic clothing brand designed and produced in Nashville, Tennessee committed to craftsmanship and making delightful clothing. The designer thoughtfully uses dead stock fabrics, special vintage textiles and naturally dyed eco-printed fabrics combined with feminine styles to embody her vision of elegant clothes; responsibly sourced and produced for the modern woman who is confident in expressing herself.

Puff sleeve jacket made from a vintage patchwork quilt top made by Ella Detweiler in 1946, paired with white silk/cotton bow front blouse and linen plaid trousers with a cornflower blue side stripe.
Red silk gingham midi dress with full swing skirt, elasticized neckline with ruffle trim and ruffles at the shoulders. The silk was dyed with 500 grams of organic madder root. Bermuda button bag made from silk custom dyed with indigo, madder root, cutch, and marigold flowers.
White French angora short puff sleeve sweater with tipped ribbing, finished with hand crocheted trim at the neck. Mid 20th century rayon and silk “crazy quilt” drop waist mini skirt. Silk charmeuse headband dyed with Queen Anne’s lace flowers and fresh leaf Japanese indigo.
Spice metallic linen woven hoodie popover with vintage orange plaid lining, a kangaroo pocket and side zips. Cream linen embroidered tablecloth dolphin shorts with burgundy trim. Soy and Cotton short sleeve t-shirt dyed with Logwood heartwood.
Hooded wool coat with a back drawstring made from a vintage patchwork wool quilt top with gold feather stitching contrasted by a mid century variegated plaid wool coating. Cotton and Soy long sleeve t-shirt dyed with marigold flowers with silver metallic linen bell shaped skirt. Neckerchief -silk crepe dyed with day lilies.
Striped raglan sleeve wool sweater with botanically dyed yarn from homegrown and foraged plants. Utility style white canvas pants with tan top stitching and button Bermuda bag made from a mid 20th century red linen tea towel with screen printed butterflies.
Cream silk crepe bias cut dress with a deep V- neck, open back with a tie at the back neck that was botanical contact printed with black walnut leaves, coreopsis, Queen Anne’s lace flowers, maple leaves, honeysuckle vines, impatiens leaves and begonia blossoms.
Elastic smocked ruffle top made of lilac silk chiffon with metallic threads and matching headband. Silk charmeuse bias cut skirt with eucalyptus eco print and dyed with Sappanwood sawdust.
Asymmetrical bias cut dress dyed in logwood heartwood and botanical contact printed silk satin. Printed with smooth sumac leaves, coreopsis flowers, Virginia creeper, rose leaves, marigold leaves and begonia blossoms.
White dress made from a fine linen organdy tablecloth with appliqué and embroidery in the Madeira style. This floaty dress is lined with layers of silk organza and features green linen trim framing the face. Bermuda button bag made from silk custom dyed fresh leaf indigo, marigold flowers, avocado pits, and Queen Anne’s lace flowers.
