The Meditation
The OAK & ACORN ~ Only for the Rebelles Spring Summer 2022 Collection, The Meditation : (S3) Seed - Soil - Soul is a call to the earth and the keepers of the land.
In The Meditation we first encounter the Seed. The Seed is the Word of God, the revealed truth, intention and potential.
The Seed then enters the Soil. The Soil is heart of the earth, When our hands touch and toil the Soil, it is the energy from our heart centers that reach the heart of land. It is a current, an energy exchange, in which we will reap the rewards of energy sown.
This is the contract, the Soul connection. The Soul is protected by the cloth. The fabric protects soul in the body. The individual's spirit is in their cloth.Through the cloth the ethos of the collection comes alive.
The collection is a marriage of wellness & workwear. It consists of handwoven and hand dyed fabrications from indigenous artisan collectives paired with our signature sustainable denim fabrications. The pieces are fluid yet functional.
The collection is made locally in NYC & globally in Turkey, West Africa & Pakistan.
