REBECCA MINKOFF SPRING/SUMMER 2021
Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection draws inspiration from the juxtaposition between spring florals and the downtown edge of the concrete jungle, that of New York City. The essence of the Rebecca Minkoff woman is both bohemian and rocker; feminine and masculine. The Spring/Summer 2021 collection allows the modern woman to express herself through all facets and moments of life.
Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection exudes the casual, effortless aesthetic the brand is known for. It comes to life through pastel florals, animal prints, and eyelet. The collection includes maxi dresses, soft quilted jackets, and strong leather statement pieces. Added design elements with unique embroidery and voluminous silhouettes all enhance the boho meets city aesthetic. “I always find myself drawing inspiration from both my love for the city and also nature, so this collection really embodies both of those environments.” describes the designer, Rebecca Minkoff. The handbags complete each look with a variety of shapes with a focus on: oversized, studded details, fringe, and moto detailing. The colors and materials of the collection are 70’s inspired, with colors including caramel, khaki and bordeaux, in a mix of leather and suede. Footwear includes revamped styles like booties with tassel detailing, studded sandals and strappy heels. This season’s set design was concepted with the idea of transporting the jungle to New York City with over the top lush greenery, and the addition of spring florals.
