Rentrayage Collection V toys with little moments meant to bring joy: collars that can be easily added or subtracted to any outfit, hand dyed silk ties for gentle adjustment, and cascading ruffles for an extra flair. Colors and prints that strangely work together to create something simultaneously familiar and old - plaids and camo patterns patched together, in an effort to defy and even resist expectations. The goal: to create an indoor world in which one feels both bizarrely comfortable and slightly outspoken, all without saying a word.
"For this collection, I went inside," says designer Erin Beatty, "searched myself for what I wanted. Comfort, beauty and something a bit strange and perfectly off. Unexpected functional beauty seems a most pressing sentiment right now.”
