Zero + Maria Cornejo S/S22
A chrysalis reborn and a sensual transition to a new season.
Smocked Voile embroidered with hand drawn butterflies floats away from the body in gossamer ruched volumes. More butterflies for a hand-clipped fil coupé jacquard made in France from organic cotton and recycled polyester.
Fluidly feminine bias-cut lines contrast with sharp tech separates. Boyish trousers are cut in a crisp, lightweight Suntec fabric and a new, oversized coat dress with exaggerated volume.
Eveningwear is sensuous in a subtle palette of gold, porcelain and night.
There are some powerful new shapes for Eco Denim and soft French Terry - wrap skirts and dresses in raw-edged denim - tight-hipped and full-skirted.
With a continued focus on responsible design, sustainable textiles are used wherever possible and 80% of the collection is produced locally in New York City.
Shoes are made in Italy and feature ruched detailing in colors that echo the ready to wear.
The collection is shipped to retail partners in eco-friendly, 100% compostable TIPA packaging.
