Each of my seasonal collections reflects personal experiences, transforming life's challenges into beautiful creations. The Reminiscence 2024 collection is inspired by a recurring dream that offered solace during one of the most difficult times in my life. This dream, which returned to me after years, became a sanctuary and a reminder of hope and beauty amidst hardship. Simply put, this collection is about how a dream can become our beautiful sanctuary and a reminder of hope and beauty during times of struggle and hardship.
In the dream, I glide along a coastal road on a bicycle with an army green frame, beige rubber on steel wheels, and brown seats and handles. The path is narrow and steep, flanked by the vast, shimmering ocean on my left and towering, rugged rocks on my right. Reeds sway gracefully in the wind, while vibrant greens and flowers dance in the gentle breeze. The sun bathes the water and sand in a golden glow, making them sparkle like precious gems. My hair flows freely in the wind, and my heart overflows with a profound sense of happiness and freedom.
As I close my eyes, the warm, salty breeze kisses my face, and for a moment, I am enveloped in pure bliss. The Reminiscence 2024 collection captures this dreamscape, translating its emotional richness and visual splendor into wearable art, sharing that fleeting yet profound sense of escape and reminding us of the enduring beauty and hope that can be found even in the darkest times.
