AW21
“This collection was really a response to studying the texture and language of flowers. Taking something that so many of us find beauty and inspiration in; dissecting the architecture of flowers to evoke the silhouettes and structure of the collection was a fresh approach for me.
We commissioned floral artwork this season that we’ve applied in many different ways to the garments and on our collaborative Manolo Blahnik shoes. This hand-dyed technique was incorporated throughout the collection and developed locally in support of New York’s Garment District.
Manolo Blahnik was a natural collaborator for us as we share similar ideals on construction and quality in our perspectives on simple, everlasting pieces.
This season continues to expand the aperture of the Danielle Frankel line. We’ve introduced color for the first time, and continue to speak to new women and the moments they will always remember.”
