SOMETIMES ALL WE NEED IS A SLIGHT SHIFT IN PERSPECTIVE.
This season, we form romantic silhouettes, exclusively with materials that already exist — French pigment printed poplin, deadstock American and Italian denim, cyan-hued eyelet, and white Swiss woven organdy. Our chambray is screen printed by hand in Brooklyn, with a naive floral artwork.
A certain maximalist restraint comes from the mix of utility and glamour. Ruffled tiers of indigo float away from the body and fringe of clipped dots spring forth. The materiality of creation is central. Our styles are at once raw and refined. We elevate unpretentious cloth, giving a gentle reminder of the beauty in things that are both everyday and extraordinary.
