When life becomes complicated, the desire to stress simplicity and gravitate towards the fundamental grows strong, calling for a reaffirmation of the pragmatic glamour the house is known for. This season, ideas of essentialism and going “back to basics” manifested themselves into a multitude of inspirational touch-points and propositions for the next chapter of the brand -- informed initially by the irreverent artworks of primary school children. The transformation of the sun's immenseness and formidability, into a quarter-circle of yellow crayon in the corner of a kid's coloring book page was the impetus for this new body of work.
