For N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE Fall 2023, Daisuke Obana showcases functional clothing in vivid rich coloring. Daisuke chose to focus the collection on outdoor wear and its relationship in casual fashion today. Classic staples from the 70s to the 90s are reimagined with enhanced functionality, accessibility and a new minimalism through abstract design. Taken from the evolution of mountaineering wear, the pieces are transformed from something typically worn by surfers and campers for everyday town use. Under Daisuke's supervision, the Fall 2023 collection was designed in collaboration with long-term project team of N.HOOLYWOOD and the presentation visual was brought to life by graphic designer and art director Motoko Marui. The result is a collection of bold and lively staples created from a new perspective and experimental lens.

"N.HOOLYWOOD COMPILE” Fall 2023 continues to offer a fresh take on formal and dress wear through contemporary editing. Designer Daisuke Obana prioritizes ready-to-wear that emphasizes the details, materials, and comfort of each piece over seasonal themes or trends. The focus is on a borderless design that blends casual and formal elements, creating timeless essentials that can be worn anytime, anywhere. By anyone.
