Pre-Fall 2022
Creative Director Zoe Turner continues to build on the brand identity amid nostalgic memories of relatives wearing St. John in American dynasties. With the passing of time and know-how from generation to generation, the brand itself has perfected their craft as have their clients in passing down looks and adding in newness for an aesthetic that is individual and modern through heritage.
For Pre-Fall 2022, the desirability of tailoring, that the brand is known for, is shown through an equestrian athleticism as seen in a stretch knit jodhpur legging and elegant dressage shirts layered under signature tweed knit jackets. Subtle workwear details run through the collection for the woman with an active lifestyle which can be seen through tweeds updated in quilted “body warmer” off-duty shapes and cropped hooded sweatshirts. Strong shouldered cross-over draped dresses are an evening statement while sparkling sequin knit is cut into svelte evening leggings, continuing the equestrian inspiration well past sunset.
