Wiederhoeft is overjoyed to present the Spring / Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear Collection, "Mother Goose and all Her Silly Little Friends." The collection continues to expand on core house themes of dance, theatre, and overblown buffoonery... This season, we draw our attention to classic Mother Goose characters, reimagined as Wiederhoeft-ified superheroes in a comic book experience.
Rather than debut the collection through a live presentation, the collection's energy is redirected into a comic book format. The book, which features wildly colorful scenes of bamboozlement, is photographed by notpaulsimon, art directed by McLayne Ycmat, and features illustrations by Claudia Nicole Cruz. The book will be available online following the show, with all profits from the sale of the book benefiting Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation, which provides youth performing arts education.
