Resort 2024
The sensual, elegant, and simplified wardrobe of the ‘90s were reconfigured and reimagined for the Et Ochs Resort 24 collection.
Paying homage to the ‘90s classic boxy tailoring, blazers and outerwear are elongated and crafted with ease. Silhouettes are relaxed and stripped of unnecessary complications; fluid Double-Faced Silk Charmeuse is cut on the bias while luscious Gloss Jersey cascades across the bodice, carving out dis- tinctive silhouettes free of zippers and internal structures. Knitwear and smocking elements are sliced into strapless gowns and dresses, replacing the need for cumbersome grosgrain and boning construc- tions. Simplicity of the designs were dotted with eccentric details; layered translucency reveals the un- derlying architectural structure of the garments – seams are inverted and lining is exposed, inhabiting the space between casually undone and sexy elegance.
The palette is neutral and paled-down - Black, Optic White, Buttercream, and Oak, injected with splashes of electrifying Cerulean and Moss; emitting a sense of confidence and centeredness.
Blending casual-formal and elegant-subversive – the Et Ochs Resort 24 collection imagines an everyday uniform for the modern day Carolyn Bessette, filling the skyscrapers of the New York City with reconfig- ured and repurposed classics strewn with unexpected details.
