S/S22 MARCHESA BRIDAL
The Spring 2022 Marchesa Bridal collection is inspired by the White Garden at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent, England. Both ethereal and achingly romantic, the garden was created in only ivory and shades of white by poet and writer Vita Sackville-West in the 1950s. Foxglove, Delphinium, Hydrangea and peonies are sharing the dreamy space with Roses, Artemisia and Lilies. The Elizabethan Manor Sissinghurst Castle creates a formal framework to Vita’s whimsical planting style that together exude pure beauty and timelessness.
Hues of ivory and white flowers are embroidered with silky thread on crisp gazar, textured bundles of roses and buds tumble down Ballgown skirts and multilayered gowns create depth and romance inside of Marchesa’s Spring 2022 Couture collection. The whimsical is framed by the formal, just like at Sissinghurst - by the smooth architectural details and clean lines seen in taffeta and organza.
