SNOW XUE GAO F/W22 Ready-to-Wear Collection
Set in Snow’s atelier, work meets leisure in the heart of midtown Manhattan bordering Hell’s Kitchen and the Garment District. Although Snow is not with her family in Beijing watching the Winter Olympics, she pays homage to the Lunar New Year Spring Festival through various blouses and dresses showcasing an array of floral prints and tailoring. In her newest collection, Snow features many houndstooth bottoms and plaid suiting. From oversized coats to printed tops, Snow’s versatility is boundless as she draws inspiration from Chinese oil paintings. For this season’s textiles, a lot of mesh fabric and wool prints is utilized compared to previous seasons which highlighted silk and cotton.
