"The Danger of Tears" combines classic Hollywood elegance, minimalism and her signature dark, haunting spirit.
"The Danger of Tears" is my first fully designed and conceptualized collection while living in Los Angeles versus New York City, it was tough for me. I had a lot of setbacks regarding logistical aspects of developing a collection as well as a lot of emotional difficulty. It turned out to be one of my favorite and best produced collections in terms of design and overall construction quality. In addition to the new FW20 styles, I revisited pieces from past collections that have become Katie Gallagher staples.
My biggest fear vanished when I found the right west coast artists to work with and help me make the new collection the reality i've become so used to making in NYC."
